As our Winter Sports leagues come to a close, here’s a look into our league winners.
Romans 5.8 won the Adult Futsal league in an extremely close game against Send It.
Lopez Excavating triumphed in our Adult Volleyball league.
Jake’s On the Court dominated our Adult basketball league.
The Truckee Hockey Club pulled away with the championship in the B-League.
If you’re ready to get outdoors and play, sign ups for Spring and Summer adult leagues are open now. TDRPD rec leagues are a great way to enjoy some friendly competition, while hanging out with your friends. Check out all the leagues we have to offer.
“It was a great season for our adult sports, and even with the crazy winter, we were able to get all the games in,” said Angelo Tenorio, our Senior Sports Supervisor. “We are looking forward to getting outside in the sunshine for Summer sports.”
We offer multiple co-ed bocce ball leagues. New this year, we’ve added a Sunday League for even more fun out at Riverview Sports Park. Bring a picnic dinner, beverage of choice, or use the BBQ to enhance the social aspect of the game. We have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday leagues. All of which are 6pm - 9pm.
You have a few weeks to get in shape! We have multiple soccer leagues as well. Join us for 5v5 co-ed soccer on Sundays from 6/4-7/9. Get a group of friends together, and play a smaller sided game. Divisions are split up into 18+ and 35+. Our full field co-ed soccer league starts on 7/9 and runs through 9/10. Divisions are split up into A and B leagues. Enjoy some competition in the beautiful Truckee sun, or under the lights of Truckee River Regional Park.
We offer adult softball, both mens and co-ed in multiple divisions. Get your friends, co-workers, or service groups together and sign up as a team. The leagues are set up for all skill levels and abilities. The adult softball league is more than a rec league; it fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants as well as a place to meet new people and build lasting friendships while enjoying outdoor recreation.
Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for some friendly competition or a beginner looking to try out softball for the first time, our softball league offers a fantastic summer experience.
