Brief Summary: TDRPD has an exciting opportunity to join its Aquatics Department. We are hiring for a Lead Swim Instructor at the Truckee Community Swimming Pool. Ideal candidates will have First Aid, CPR and Water Safety Instructor certifications or be willing to obtain once hired (we will train you!). Experience teaching or working with children required. This position will help lead our successful swim lesson program, supervising other teachers and making sure all participants have a quality experience. . Teaching kids how to swim is a fun and rewarding job. Come join our team.
Hours: Part-Time
Pay: $22.56—$25.37 per hour, depending on experience, and District perks valued at $500 per month for a family of 4 (they include membership passes to the fitness center, pool, and beach for employees and their entire family).
