Swim Lessons

 

Parent/Tot

(6 months - 3 years) Focus mainly on water acclimation with games, songs, and lots of toys. With your help (the parent) we introduce basic swimming skills and the principles of our Learn to Swim Program. 

Guppy

(3-4 years) This is a starting point for children with no prior experience in swim lessons. Children learn to relax & enjoy the water while acquiring beginning swim techniques. Ratio 1:4

Guppy Grad

(3-5 years) This class is for children who have passed guppies and feel comfortable putting their face in the water, but are too young for the seahorse class. 5 year olds uncomfortable in water may also take this level class. Intro to basic swimming skills, including front crawl and back floating. Ratio 1:4

Seahorse

(5+ years) This class is for children who are 5 years and up who feel comfortable putting their face in the water. Intro to basic swimming skills, including front crawl and back floating. Ratio 1:6

Turtle

Stroke Readiness This class is for children who can comfortably swim 5 yards on their front and 5 yards on their back. Children will continue to learn front and back stroke, with introduction to side breathing, deep water swimming, and breaststroke. Ratio 1:6

Seal

Stroke Development This class if for children who can comfortably swim 15 yards on their front and 15 yards on their back. Skills include: side breathing, diving, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, diving and treading water. Ratio 1:6

SWIM TEAM PREP(STP) CLASS

This class is for kids that are interested in joining swim team or just working on strength and endurance. For this level, swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards in freestyle and backstroke. Focus is on stroke development. Including butterfly and flip turns. Ratio 1:6
